Passionately Pink

by

Soochal’s comment today on an April post brought me to a flickr photo page. (FYI, I’d borrowed a photo image from Soochal for that post and Soochal was updating me on the survivor’s progress.)

Today, after a little poking around on flickr again, I discovered that Yahoo! is donating $1 to Susan G. Komen for each pink picture uploaded to a group of photos by the end of the month — up to $50,000. The photo above by casamelo was uploaded to the group on the 11th; isn’t it perfect?

Time to search the iPhoto library or take some great shots. Let do it guys!

Click on this link to get there directly. Don’t forget to come back and tell me what you’ve done!

Karen, Beautiful pic! I have a flickr account and am a shutterbug myself so I will have to start snapping some pink! I will be sure to return when I have added my pic!

I see they’ve already reached over 50,000 photographs which is amazing. I’m trying to add one anyway…I’ll be under “sage and thyme” if it gets on there!!

I never did figure out how to add my picture to the pool (!!) - I’m so tired today I’m having trouble thinking … period.

Anyway, I blogged about it and added some of your information. If you want to see my photograph you can check it out at
