My Pink Office

by

Not ready to do the pantry yet … but I am ready to show you what is in my office these days. It is filled with pink products. Take a look:

highlighter_pen_combo.jpg

My husband, otherwise known as “the pink shopper”, brought these Post-it® Flag Highlighter Pens home for me last week after a trip to Staples. Thirty cents from each pack will be donated to City of Hope.

I always use HP Multipurpose Paper … this month the package is pink and states that 20% of the manufacturer’s profit from this product will be donated to breast cancer research and awareness. Thank you HP!

Pendaflex.jpgOh, and I have cool new pink Pendaflex folders … though I didn’t get this cool file box I see online … but they’re giving 10% of net sales of their pink products to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Corporate support for the cause is a win-win situation. They get the tax benefits and the great PR, breast cancer philanthropies get the money they need to move forward, survivors and caregivers get that feel-good feeling when they walk the aisles of their favorites stores. (Who would have thought we’d get that at Staples!)

Thanks for the reminder about the pens Karen. Evan saw some Sharpie’s in pink and commented on how cool they were. I’m sending a “care pacakge” to Uni later today…I’m stopping at Staples to see if I can get him some!
