Karen Lynch to Co-host Inspire! Internet Radio Show

by

inspire_logo_w_tower_180.jpgYes, it’s true. Breast Cancer Wellness magazine’s Internet Radio Show Inspire! was in need of a new co-host and I’ve been recruited for the job.

Starting this Wednesday, October 11th, you can tune in at 12:00 CST and listen to the show that focuses on a holistic approach to healing from breast cancer.

Now, lest you think I’m going alternative on you (I’m not) — the word holistic itself means, well, here, from the Merriam-Webster online dictionary: “Relating to or concerned with wholes or with complete systems rather than with the analysis of, treatment of, or dissection into parts. ‘Holistic medicine attempts to treat both the mind and the body.’”

For the record, I totally believe in mind/body/spirit healing and the enjoyment of complimentary therapies as an adjunct to credible medical care. I’m a skeptic when it comes to alternative medicines and their ability to cure cancer but I do believe in adjuncts to heal the symptoms of breast cancer and/or breast cancer treatment.

Tomorrow I’ll tell you more about my first guest. But meanwhile, if you head on over to the Breast Cancer Wellness magazine website you can sign up (on the left hand side of the page) to receive their newsletter that’ll promote the show to a few THOUSAND people!
