Join the Red Shoe Society
Remember Lizzie — the young woman I wrote about in my last post? Well, Lizzie loved red shoes. Apparently, a lot. So her mother, Merry Prostic started ‘The Red Shoe Society’ in her memory.
Red shoes mean courage, strength, confidence … what a great way to honor Lizzie. (So refreshingly not pink, don’t you think?)
All profits from shoes sold through The Red Shoe Society go directly to benefit Metacancer. Shop away!

I’ve loved red shoes for too many years to remember. I had no idea they stood for courage, strength and confidence, but if you think about it, that really makes sense.
How loving for Lizzie’s mother to start the red shoe society and for Lizzie’s husband to start Metacancer.
Wonderful tributes and you’re so right Karen, they aren’t pink!!

I love ‘em, too. I’d buy a pair, but I think my size 9 feet would look awful in them!

I was thinking that I’d love to buy a pair, but the ones they’ve chosen aren’t really the most flattering for every foot.

Great tribute, however, I think they’d make more for the foundation if the shoes were not so expensive.. $195 for a pair of sandals is a bit steep. Even the ones on sale aren’t less that $100… just a thought..
