Hello world!

by Karen Lynch

Time to start discussing breast cancer. Because if we don’t talk about it we’ll never conquer the damn disease for good.

My name is Karen Lynch. I’m a two time breast cancer survivor and a freelance writer. Know what topic I like to write about most? You guessed it: breast cancer. You’re so smart.

Tomorrow I’m going to tell you the most fascinating story of survival: mine. No, seriously, all stories of survival are interesting to other survivors. Mine is only different than yours because no two experiences with breast cancer are exactly the same.

Every survivor has a story to tell and I want to hear them and share them all if I can. If you want to be interviewed for a future post on this blog, email me and we can work out the logistics.

I’ll also be posting information I gather on the breast cancer: awareness of breast cancer, symptoms of breast cancer, the stages of breast cancer, breast cancer treatment, living with breast cancer, breast cancer research, breast cancer risks, breast cancer causes … phew, aren’t you exhausted just thinking about the possibilities?

I look forward to discussing breast cancer with you all.

I just wanted to say that I think this will be a great addition to the 451 Press blogs. My mom is a two-time breast cancer survivor as well. I’ll definitely be reading!

Deanna, your mom is a lucky woman to have you and your support. Thanks for sharing, thanks for reading.

Thanks, RJ. I’d love to hear your story sometime. Email me if you’d like to share!

    Glad to have you here.
